Safety Failure

Killa Beez

Taking the Bounty Hunters creed for the first time so I had to show up strong, right? Harnessing inspiration from a few classic Wu-Tang Clan songs and some old IronPAX legendary exercises, I crafted together 45 minutes of what I hoped would be a challenge for the PAX. To add icing to the cake, quite a few of those in attendance were already complaining about what Triple Lindy did to their rear-ends the day before. [Read More]

"Shaping up to be an okay Q"

Those are the generous words Snots shared as we wrapped up our last weights rep on this tour of the plenty that Green Mile has to offer. The day started off perfectly gloomy with mist making it hard to see anything. After a nice warm-up with some high knees, jump skip, butt kicker, and karaoke intervals on the way, we made our way down to the greenway. We started off with a signature move–the over-complicated competition that was hard to understand: the “corn-hole burpee relay”. [Read More]

BLIMPS!!!

On Monday this week, Slim Shady made me a deal that if I Qed Lion’s Den, he would go ahead and get on the Q sheet for Wild Wild West. So here we are. I had thought about just running back last week’s Back In Black Q, but that seemed like cheating and then the M decided last night was a good time to take down the Christmas decorations, so I never did get a chance to put the thought I wanted to into the plan, but BLIMPS was close enough to last week so there it was. Is That Your Pickle? (or are you just happy to see me???)

Respect week. The GREATEST WEEK OF THE YEAR in carpex f3. The excitement was palpable at Salem Pond Park on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Several did an EC run, there were 2 for EC Shred and 2 more for EC pull-ups. After Hermes finished reading the obituaries, we got all 24!!! guys to start out with the Pledge. There was a little mini-disclaimer beforehand, but it was likely not heard due to the intense MC centering around bad old people jokes. [Read More]

Full Metal Snip'n

Twenty-one PAX made it out to Full Metal Jacket Tuesday morning for an Election Day workout. It was my 1-year F3 anniversary and South Cary came to support. At 530 AM, we said the Pledge, and off we went. Warm up Jog over to the parking lot near the baseball field Good Morning Arm Circles (Front/Back) SSH Calf Stretches Merkins First » Two-circle DORA Mozy up to the main circle off the second entrance. Three

YHC celebrates Three Years with F3 today. I had to Q, and Tortoises - where I used to be site Q - was the perfect place for it. My pre-blast promised Threes, Burpees, Merkins, and Music. We accomplished that. Left Cheek and I pulled up at the same time. I hadn’t met him before, but I could tell immediately that he is a HIM. We talked for a few minutes, then I ECP-ed some pullups to get rid of energy before the rest of the PAX showed up. [Read More]

The People's Champion

Davis Drive park has got to be one of the darkest places in an otherwise bright and somewhat beige world of Cary. Wait, is this where the Beige Bros got their name? Nevermind, I digress. It’s dark at Wolverine. Not too dark to know where to do pull-ups before the witching hour of 0530. It’s a busy Monday, with 17 PAX making the journey this morning. No FNGs, so a very abbreviated disclaimer was given. [Read More]

Coffee's for Closers or Coffee's Closer?

Even as I type this back blast, Prodigal is still doing LBCs… For quite some time now, my Tuesday morning coffeeteria involves driving from Disturbing the Peace in downtown Apex to WZ by Full Metal Jacket and joining up with the already established fellowship taking place. It’s hard breaking into that camping chair circle when you arrive late, so the only way to beat ‘em, is to join ‘em. Not to mention, I drive by FMJ just to get to DTP, so when Orphan threw out the bat signal for people to step up and Q, it was a no brainer. [Read More]

Kettle What???

The Carpex challenge tour continues as YHC takes the Q at the premiere (only) Carpex Kettlebell workout! Admittedly, YHC is not typically a KB guy, but as previously stated, Carpex challenge. I have a friend that posts some KB workouts on the book of face so I was going to steal one of her workouts, until I tried to do the first set of exercises and realized my bell was too heavy and I would die if I attempted that.
