My Perogative!

Date: 2/7/2019 QIC: WWW AO: Back-in-Black PAX: Hermes, FNG High Splits, Hi-Liter, Lightbrite, Swank, Theismann, Texas Ranger, WWW, Yoga Mat I was a little worried about my right knee this morning because I tweaked it posting at FMJ while doing some hill work. Even with two bum knees, I could not let the PAX down and circumsack. Lucky for me, I’m the Q and I can control the mileage. I tested it before start and the pain was not bad enough to bow out. FNGs Abound

The PAX recruiting game showed up strong on this A.M. as we had 3 FNGs make their way into the gloom. The Disclaimer was necessary. As I type this I am just now realizing I forgot to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. This is a priority and so I recognize now the men and women who go and have gone into harms way to protect the liberties that we as a United States of America hold as unalienable. [Read More]

Super Bowl After-Party

“Never miss a Monday.” Very popular saying in the Fern setting workout crowds………….except for the Monday following Super Bowl. IT must be the same for F3, because I seriously doubt that anyone is intentionally avoiding my Q’s. Right, Shutty-Cakes. A whole touchdown worth of people. Only 17 people short of the total amount of points scored by my beloved Wolfpack on Saturday. Word on the street is they were out late shutting in down at East Village Friday night. [Read More]

Run and DMC

I don’t mind cold weather so long as I don’t have to scrap frost off my windshield. What does that have to do with the workout? Nothing, except that it was cold. It was cold until we got going. But how far were we going? All the way to CC Jones park. This is great little park for both workouts and for the family. Definitely recommend taking the family there if you are in the area. The Night was Lit, albeit wet

Well it was another beautiful evening gloom for a PAX of 6 at Rush Hour, and when I say another beautiful evening I mean we had a consistent rain on us the entire time. Which I had not factored in.. But it was all good, cause as we know F3 still happens rain or shine, and its always a great day to be alive, Amen? Amen! Warm Up First we jogged over to the parking lot just before Academy Street, and proceeded with following exercises: [Read More]

The Burger King Effect

We’re all familiar with Burger King’s long time moto “Have it your way”. I don’t know that I have ever personally exercised my right to have it my way with their burgers but the options is there I suppose. It’s empowering to have options. There is ownership in the plan when those involved are given the option to choose what kind of experience they ultimately want. This fundamental idea was visited in this workout. [Read More]
