When Sargent Squatter Came to T2I

Seeing Ausfahrt you might think “Wow, that guy is so lazy, he never runs anywhere”. But while lazy may be true for his personal hygene when it comes to working out the guy is tough as nails. Some of the newer guys may not know his story. Not long ago he was riding his motorcycle when he was hit by a truck (I think it was a half-ton truck, too! [Read More]

Last one at 40!

YHC had originally signed Two Factor up to Q this morning, but he was still recovering from his back hurting so it was only appropriate for YHC to lead. Today was my last F3 workout in my 40s since my birthday is right around the corner. Without a great plan in mind for today, it worked out pretty well. Everyone seemed to get their money’s worth! Gather at the flag, disclaimer for the FNG, quick pledge, and off we go! [Read More]

Sunrise over New Hampshire

Had lots of concepts and ideas in mind for Wolverine this morning but decided to keep it simple this morning. Warm-up / Thang / Mary: We ran from Davis Drive Park to Bond Park stopping every now and then for exercises which may or may not have included irkins. Once in Bond Park we did a coupon set of curls, rock rows, tricep extensions and overhead presses (15x each) with five burpees in between. [Read More]

I couldn't think of a good title

YHC signed up to Q this morning to ensure accountability to show up after a few days of solid fartsacking. After a fiasco of finding parking, YHC ran up to where the flag should have been at 5:44. After a quick pledge, we split the strong group of 16 between YHC and Earhart. This is what the Sooey Crew accomplished. Re-opening Wolverine

The air was cool and the gloomiest of AO’s was lit by a clear morning sky with a bright waning gibbous moon. It was a joy to be able to officially re-open Wolverine. The five other HIM that showed up made it a morning to remember with mumble chatter that YHC has seriously missed over the past 6 weeks. While we were away, TOC graciously finished their construction project. So, not only did we re-open the AO, we moved the flag back to its rightful place in the main parking lot. [Read More]

Q Week Day 4: FC

Day 4 of 5 of my Q week was set to be the most challenging (to not fartsack that is), the PAX seemed to be in good spirits considering everything going on in the world. YHC enjoyed seeing a good crowd out there this morning! Warm-up: To start getting our hearts bumping, we took a run around the peanut, with alternating movements including: Karaoke Ass-Kickers High Knees High Skip WU also circled up for GMs, Windmills and Burpees (foreshadowing the future) [Read More]

Four Corner

It was a lovely yet chilly morning in the gloomiest of Monday Morning AO’s in Carpex. With it being the first full week of recommended (and in many cases mandated) social distancing, along with it being the morning after the Off-The-Books Tobacco Road Marathon, I was expecting low numbers. We had a grand total of 4 PAX. I was glad that those who came came and also glad that those who felt like they should stay away stayed away. [Read More]

Dr. Dre makes ya feel alright

#COVID19 is now officially in full hysteria mode. I mean that in the “uncontrolled” and not “exaggerated” sense of the term since who knows if the hysteria is warranted or not. But considering that the NBA just suspended their season… and travel from Europe into the US is blocked… and America’s Dad (or whatever we are calling Tom Hanks nowadays) is not in quarantine in Australia as a result of COVID… well, the shite has gotten real. Pickle Madness

YHC had a plan - hit as many of the parking lot pickles as we could. After a brief walkthrough (and some pre-workout Pokemon GO), we were ready. FNG Check (nice save on the new PAX remembering his name from the day before) / Disclaimer / Pledge / Farewell to the Bruisers / FOLLOW ME Lap around the home pickle, out the south exit, turn back up Maury Odell, back trail to the Community Center.
