Feels like Merkins

From the time YHC’s bowels awoke him at 4:56, it just felt like a merkin kind of day. You know how that is, amrite? Ma Bell’s Qing, you know there will be merkins. Goose and I arrived to a reluctant group of PAX. I mean, it’s 70 degrees out already. Let’s get out of those cars! By the time 5:45 struck, we were 15 strong. Let’s go. Unfortunate for the FNG that showed a few minutes late, but couldn’t find us until halftime of our workout… Warm-Up With the rain miraculously holding off the PAX began a light jog into the park stopping at the speed bump for the 6 to complete 20 SSH, then jogged the rest of the way in to circle up for some Merkins, Mountain Climbers and Good Mornings. This also happened today in CarPex

So, a new AO - Bounty Hunters - debuted today somewhere north of Atlanta. I heard it’s about a 4-hour drive, so I was pretty shocked to see that 32 PAX made it all the way down there for the christening. Good on ya. Meanwhile, in downtown Cary, 12 PAX milled around the normal starting spot wondering where on earth the B.O. shovelflag was. Oh, the other site Q has it. [Read More]

What Rain?

Apocalyptic rain had fallen for the previous 24 hours and was going strong with this Pax stepped out into it Tuesday am. Whatevs…bring it YHC thought. He had done this before at his previous Q at FWD. Nothing new and just a reason some Pax use to fartsack. But the numbers came and 10 souls got out into it and did some work. That is what this thang is all about. [Read More]
