Gloom+ECR+ECP+Bruisers+Vanilla = A wonderful way to start your day

After my plane landed in North Cary, I met Chanticleer for 4 mile EC run. When we finished, we heard the EC pull-up crowd wrapping up, and then the rest of the PAX trickled in. No FNGs, and off we went. A mosey around the pickle and circle up. Milk Run

33 Pax gathered to celebrate YHC’s 35th birthday… well actually, they gathered to watch what would happen when Frisco drank a half gallon of milk prior to the beatdown. Banjo joined Frisco in the lactose challenge. Surprisingly, they were able to keep it all down during the workout. Pickles and Parker got in some EC merkins and several pax got in an EC fellowship run with Half. Once the new start time of 0530 rolled around, we were off! [Read More]

The Tempest. Or a Martini.

The role of Largemouth will be played by his understudy

With just under 12 hours on the clock before the start of Kryptonite, the call went out that Largemouth was dealing with a stomach bug. So I dusted off the script, prepped for the part and took the stage as the Q for a morning performance. And although the audience was visible upset, no one left the theatre and demanded their money back. We mosey across the street (hold up, car right) to the parking lot. [Read More]

From Florence to Flora

If you’re like most of us much of your time, mental, emotional, physical and spiritual energy has been spent either preparing for, getting through or rebound from Hurricane Florence. And rightfully so. One of the great things about F3 is that it allows us to escape from the daily stresses and toil in a whole other way. This is how we went from Florence to Flora. Pledge of Allegiance Quick mosey that found us running backwards and high kneeing because I knew Frisco was enjoying himself too much. [Read More]

How Not to Win Friends & Influence People

Someone mentioned to me last week that I had the Q this week at FOD. I had not remembered that. It would have been super embarrassing to travel across CarPEX Nation and miss a Q at FOD. I mean, who does that? Anyway, given this is the OG Tuesday AO in CarPEX, I wanted to bring it. Nobody splashed but the level of hatred thrown my way leads YHC to the following conclusion: mission accomplished. [Read More]

Hanging with My Hose

Hanging with my hose This BB is bought to you courtesy of Carl Schreiber, 42, @Frisco While planning the birthday Q for the best limited run workout AO in CARPEX, Mr. @Frisco DM’d me that he had some extra hoses hanging around. Initially, YHC had concerns about taking him up on his offer to use his hoses but decided to take a chance. Hey, it’s my birthday Q, what could go wrong? Black Jack Deuces Wild

A good group of card sharks gathered this morning for a little game of Black Jack. However, counting, running, time and just good old common sense seemed to be our enemy, and although we had a good workout, we didn’t finish the game. We left the small parking lot and headed to the large parking lot doing a like backwards run and karaoke on the way and circled up right in the middle of the main entrance. [Read More]
