Fifty-two pick-up

Sixteen HIM gathered in the A-Team gloom this morning to help YHC celebrate a 52nd lap around the sun. It was extra gloomy, but the temps were perfect. As anyone knows who has Q’d A-Team, it pays to have a plan A and a plan B, depending on what time CheddarBo rolls in to unlock the gate. 5:45 and no sign of him, so plan B is in effect. No FNGs, but YHC does a quick facsimile of the disclaimer anyway, and we’re off. [Read More]

Accountability

YHC made a last minute decision to lead Phoenix as a way to be accountable to show up and not fart sack. It is always fun to lead such a strong group of PAX! Nice weather and great way to start the weekend. At 6:30 sharp we were off to the far parking lot near fields 6 and 7 for our warm up. Warm Up: SSH x 15 IC Imperial Walkers x 15 IC Arm circles x 10 IC Reverse arm circles x 10 IC Mountain Climbers x 10 IC Merkins x 20 OMD Thing 1: [Read More]

40 mins of Welcome to Hunter Street Skate Park

Date: 2/22/2018 Location: Bounty Hunters QIC: Parker PAX: 13 13 Pax gathered in the 63 deg downright balmy gloom on a late Feb morning for a promised reintroduction to the wonder that is Hunter Street Skate Park. Since GTL and YHC took over site Q duties at BH a couple weeks ago YHC feels obligated to make sure the Pax are aware of all the options here. I mean, it really has a lot to offer. Apex's newest Kettlebell Workout - Hells Bells

Another great Monday morning to start at the best AO in Apex (I’m biased of course). Nine (9) fellow animals were out this morning getting their workout with the assistance of some 25lb to 45lb friends. It’s a great way to start your week and have I said how good the group is? PAX: Earhart, Sooey, Crimson, Capone, Beaker, WWW, Red Ryder, Wilbur and Monkey Nut We all roll in about the same time, at said time we start grunting like Crimson. [Read More]

JP's VVQ

After returning home from the Oak City Recovery Run Club block party on Tuesday night, I sat with the M watching the Bachelor Winter Games (because I suppose that’s more entertaining than the quadrennial actual winter games), looking at a map of Bond Park, and perusing the exicon and this fine F3 nation page. It was a 2 hour show. We are diehard Bachelor fans (cc: @AndrewPass and @AP013 on Twitter). [Read More]

Hell's Bells Beatdown

14 HIMs taking on Hells Bells Beatdown When: February 12th, 2018. QIC & YHC: WWW. The PAX: Crimson, Ryder, Sooey, Capone, Sour Mash, Monkey Nut, Earhart, Parker, Wilbur, BOGO, Pickles, Shut-in, Water Wings, WWW. Q’s first time leading HIMs for a Hells Bells kettlebell beatdown. It was a little bit warm this morning so it was a good time to get our sweat on. I was a little worried because it was 5 minuts to start time and only Shut-in and Sooey had a kettlebell. [Read More]

51 is the Magic Number

There’s an ongoing Slack-o-sphere “discussion” over the #1 AO in all of Carpex. I’ll admit, YHC has stirred the pot just a bit over this one. The primary goal for the February 9, 2018 edition of Dante’s Peak was to show the glorious versatility and overall excellence of what I consider to be THE top destination for PAX of Carpex. So let’s get on with it. Solid group of HIMs (HIDAs? [Read More]

Infinity and Beyond

Happy to be back heading up #TeamFOD this morning. 13 more pax decided to as well. Looked like 5 enjoyed a new signature EC run in as well. We aren’t all blessed to have AOs within running distance to our houses, people. (At least you don’t do like some pax, whom shall remain nameless, and make them run to you and name the EC run that you only half partake in after yourself. [Read More]
