We Don't Need no Stinkin' Themes

Apparently some of you have come to expect a certain amount of panache in my Qs. No costume? No theme? The masses were disappointed and grumbling. Disclaimer provided, no flag ☹️, so off we head at 5:45 on the nose (about 14 seconds before Trike could get out of his car) pearls in a string warmups with 5 penalty burpees. Head across Green Level and turn right towards the lake, and look what we found. [Read More]

Core work at FOD 6-25-19

3 guys did some ECP or something b/c they think South Cary couldnt handle it. I think it started at 5ish. 5:45 - “Disclaimer” was stated, literally. Follow me, the path around the ball fields is closed, like with a fence closed in case you were wondering. Do some penalty burpees for YHC not knowing this. Jog over to the nice soft field and circle up for some warm up stuff. [Read More]

The answer to Life, the Universe and Everything....

YHC didn’t sleep very soundly the night before Q-ing at Phoenix, and wasn’t sure why - perhaps the anticipation of clocking another year old and wiser (?) or perhaps the gnawing feeling of a half planned Q. Whatever the reason, I found myself wide awake at 5, so used the time constructively to complete the Q plan and put in a solid 45 minutes of EC around the beautiful Bond Park……by 06:25 there were only a couple of other PAX beginning to form a rather anaemic looking circle in the senior center parking lot…. The Term Paper

Today, at Flying Circus, 13 PAX celebrated two dates that will forever live in infamy. The first, June 6, 1944, the day when Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy to begin the liberation of Europe from Nazi Germany. The second, June 5, 2018, the day of my first F3 posting at Field of Dreams, led by Term Paper. To commemorate these two events, we replicated my first F3 Carpex experience designed by the famed Term Paper, and added some D-Day twists as well. [Read More]
