Fellowship sprints

Today’s workout brought to you by Google & F3 Memphis. As in… “Hey Google… find me some F3 track workouts”. F3Memphis pops up with this: https://f3memphis.com/barracks-traditional-track-workout Take a little bit of this, leave a little bit of that, and modify with a dollop of CARPEx-ness and we’re ready to go. A beautiful morning out today. A sliver moon, clear skies, a few stars punching through all the parking lot lights. Just about the perfect temperature too. [Read More]

Told Y'all There'd Be Hills

Preamble Thought I never actually saw it there, I swear Build-A-Bear had put me on the Q sheet for 3/8. But there I was scheduled for 3/1. One of y’all mophos is playing some shenanigans. But you got to get up mighty early in the morning to fool Ma Bell! Play your little games. As YHC enjoyed a refreshing beverage and a cigar, I formulated a plan. A plan that involved hills. Q School

First, let me start with what we did NOT do. I got a little flustered right at the start as I was introducing myself to Backporch only to realize that it was already 5:45 on the ol’ Garmin. You can’t be tardy to Q School! Let’s Go! So here’s what you missed… a quiz about the formerly most famous Q of them all. Q Nowadays the anonymous Q is probably more famous but for men of a Meh-generation… and of a particularly nerdy disposition… this guy was the man! [Read More]

Run The Loops!

YHC pulled into the site of FMJ with a little bit of extra time to think about the route and routine I had planned out. The morning was nice, quite, and chilly (which its still winter, so thats not surprising). The only thing a little out of the ordinary was the bobcat and other construction materials in our parking lot, which they may have been there before then I don’t know. [Read More]

Consistently DZ

There has been one constant in 2021 for YHC - DZ on Fridays with Saban. 3 for 3 so far! What better way to celebrate by hosting a classic DZ beatdown - no need to travel super far for this one. Gather up, no FNG, and also no Flag, so no Pledge. Disclaimer, Mission, Follow Me! Leave the park, take two lefts, and down Cary Parkway. Back into the park via the South entrance to the foot of bear crawl bridge. [Read More]
