Dora at the Diamond

It was a special type of Tank Top Thursday at Bounty Hunters as a few followed in the footsteps of Cameron Poe played by the electrifying Nicolas Cage and wore sleeveless undershirts. Well… his picture electrified Slack for about 10 minutes anyway. In all, about half of us were in tanks so a good showing. We Pledged our Allegiance to Old Glory and then moseyed over to nice spot between Apex Town Hall and Apex Community Center to get warmed up. [Read More]

No Themes - Let's Go To Work

No Themes - Let’s Go To Work With all of the themed workouts going on lately, YHC wanted to get back to basics. PAX circled around the flag for a Pledge of Allegiance. The PAX were then directed to look up at the cross on top of the Sovereign Grace Church. This vantage point is humbling and serves as a reminder to the price Christ paid for us. We are truly blessed to be able to do what we do. The Village(s of Apex)

Note: Orphan and Garfield were the co-Q’s for this workout, YHC is just posting the backblast for them. Goal M. Night Shyamalan directed a sleeper movie in 2004 called “The Village.” It was about a group of people who started a new society in the woods, intentionally shunning modern technology to be sheltered from current times. They were escaping the mistakes of their past to start anew, but there was no escaping the pure adrenaline caused from this little jaunt, tour, and beatdown around a neighborhood in Apex. [Read More]
