Don't Panic

AO: Dante’s Peak Workout Date: 07/02/21 When scoping out my Q, I quickly recognized Apex Nature Park from my Piranha Park Q. Excited for another visit, I pulled up to the park entrance just before 0540 to find the parking lot gate closed and no cars in sight. Was I at the wrong park? I tried to pull up f3carpex.com on my phone, but it wasn’t loading. In a decent panic, I drove back the way I came on Evans. [Read More]

Helping out your GBB!

Love me some Dante’s Peak! Great group of guys there this amazing morning! It’s the 21st day of my man Flacco’s Murph-a-day in May – wondering how I can help him knock that out and keep it fun for all… here’s what went down…. Smithers brought FNG, we did the mission, bit of a disclosure and then the pledge. Warm-up – moseyed up the hill and down the locked up entrance to the basketball court – good morning, windmill, hillbilly, shoulder stuff, merkin, mtn climber, etc. [Read More]

Cougar Town, 30-40 make 70's

The idea for this Q came from my curiosity on whether there is actually a definition of being a cougar. Reliable, first-page Google hits assure that there is, indeed. The possibility of being a cougar begins at 40 years old, with a typical 10 year gap, thus making the average cub a barely-escaped hate at 30 (coincidentally also YHC’s age). Less than 2% of US relationships meet this definition, so if you, gentle reader, are one of them, you are one of the few, the proud, the cradle-graved. [Read More]

Absence makes the heart grow fonder

I firmly believe in the saying that “absence makes the heart grow fonder” as I really missed y’all while being out West with no F3 in sight for 5 days. Even coming back out to Q and having the cold didn’t deter me in the least, as a matter of fact made it better IMO. With No FNGS we started with The Pledge Mozy’d up hill around park and down to the bb court. No Weird Sh*t Here

First off, we are missing some names up top. This is what happens when you procrastinate and do a Friday workout recap on a Monday. If you are missing and care enough to ping me, I will add you in. What a morning. Short sleeve weather and a hint of dawn. Good thing the time change is going to get rid of that shortly. There is my first Old Maid sighting in approximately a year. [Read More]

Quickies by St. Mary's

It’s late and it’s been a long week already but today’s Lion’s Den participants deserve a BB. Even if it’s a quick one. After all, everyone today demonstrated that, when asked, they can be very very quick. Warm-up GM, IW, Sir Fazio, HB, Overhead Claps, SSH Thangs First, mosey to the bottom of the sets of hills to the North (or West) of St Mary’s. Been here before. These hills are short and sweet.
