Topless Broga

One never knows what to expect on April 1st. YHC decided to play it straight, and keep the PAX wondering. At 05:29, twenty PAX had gathered around the flag in anticipation - April Fool’s jokes or not? After the Pledge of Allegiance, we’re off. Warm Up Two laps around the pickle with some backwards running, Karaoke both ways, and high knees. Circle up for SSHs, Good Mornings, Steve Earles, Moroccan Night Clubs, Overhead Claps, Plank Jacks and Control Freak Merkins. [Read More]

#F3MentalBattle

37 shakers and vesperers came in to the gloom on special day across F3 Nation, a day where we set aside some time during COT to talk about mental health. But first we have to squeeze 45 minutes of pain into 35 minutes. To help us out, and to illustrate a point, we’re taking one of the Rolling Stone coupons with us, a solid, sturdy log, large and heavy enough that it requires two PAX to carry it. [Read More]

Low Mileage but High Burn

No CARPEx PAX were surprised this morning when YHC made the announcement that today was going to be a low-mileage day. At least not those with access to (and the time to check) Slack. But nevertheless, after both a disclaimer and a reminder that F3 is about building better men and better leaders, there was an opportunity for the gazelles in the audience to make their way to A-team. Finding that none took the opportunity, “play” was hit on the ol’ bluetooth enabled noise box and we proceeded to enjoy some camaraderie while getting a bit of a sweat on. [Read More]

Please & Thank You

While the weather certainly could have been better, I thoroughly enjoyed a tight group of very pleasant seniors – if the grey hair present was any indication, there was plenty of wisdom to be shared! As 5:45 rolled in the rain continued to fall – no FNGs, only revealed familiar faces. The group was informed that this is F3 – modify as necessary! Started with the Pledge & moseyed behind the bank for…. foD

YHC rolled into Thomas Brooks park a little early to knock out some EC pull-ups. It’s not much of a thing here, but eventually several PAX joined in once they realized that pull-ups can be done at the shelter by the soccer fields. Good news, we’ll be back here eventually. With pull-ups done and the time drawing nigh, we joined the PAX circling up in the normal FOD starting spot. One issue - no flag. [Read More]

Tobacco Road Aftermath

15 HIM gathered under starlit skies to welcome the new week. 5 of us were (are) recovering from either running or rucking the Tobacco Road Half Marathon, so YHC had a special recovery edition planned. The theme featured plenty of Broga to loosen us up, and a few traditional bootcamp moves to keep everything moving. Round up the PAX for the pledge (YHC was a little disoriented but eventually got redirected to the flag…) [Read More]

I Just Googled “Most Repetitive Songs”

Pre-Blast 11 rocked out at #ao-thurs-bo. There was some discussion about Puck’s ‘stache. @Burt has an off-site meeting today at 2:30. To prepare for today, YHC just Googled “Most Repetitive Songs” The Warmup Pledge of Allegiance at the flag Run to the CFB parking lot.
