This morning kicked off YHC’s 3 year anniversary Q3. 11 pax, 1.1 inches of snow, and 22 eyes rolled by Ms at 0500. So yeah…On 1/5/2015 at A-Team a young buck took to the gloom. The workout was tough, one guy talked A LOT, one had great hair, one had a doorag, and one had a dog with 3 legs. Pre-BB We absolutely blew up GroupMe on its last official day in action when YHC asked the PAX to share what, in each HIM’s opinion, was the biggest event of 2017. Hilarity ensued. Some of you may have heard or participated in the Walk to Bethlehem challenge put out by Ma Bell and Term Paper to accumulate 96 miles (the estimated distance from Nazareth to Bethlehem) in any activity over the 21 days of Advent. Pre-BB Men, YHC and my M, Leah, had an absolute BLAST at the Christmas Party last night. Leah really enjoyed herself and loved meeting many of your M’s. She commented on the way home about how kind, outgoing, funny, and fun-loving everyone seemed to be. YHC was truly impressed with all the CARPex crazies talking EC last night on the MC Groupme channel. Between Insomnia, EC Ruck, OTB in South Wake and Pittsboro — and a Tortoise Challenge from @f3earhart — was anyone going to Post at the Utopia that is the unofficial Wednesday CARPex convergence? 14 HIM gathered at the well-lighted Apex Nature Park to start their weeks off right. Started with a brief jog into one parking lot (where the PAX got a little confused as Hot Spot broke off from the group for his solo run through the woods) for the warmup (SSH, Good Mornings, Sir Fazio Arm Circles, Overhead Clap, Mountain Climbers, Cotton Pickers). Strong showing Wednesday morning for the birth of Largemouth’s 3rd child. Water Wings Week began on a clear, cool morning at the infamous A-Team AO.
