Pressure

It was cold. The morning started at 0500 for an EC run by 3 of the aforementioned best. When YHC showed up at 0505 for EC pull-ups, they were long gone, and it was just me and Bob Seger for pull-ups and Merkins. Pre-Blast 13 Heavyweight HIMs knocked out the competition on Andy Hill at FC. PBX made it awkward at least twice. Pigeon crushed it. Trike complained about his cold hands. Gloomiest Cinder Blocks!

(CMU’s - Apparently) 19 Met at the Gloomiest AO in all Cary this morning (1/7/19) for a workout, and they were not disappointed. Snots, Ollie and YHC met at 0445 for some extra credit intervals and worked different paces over at the Davis Drive Middle School track. High Tempo Hangover

Gut Buster Pre-Party

With the Carpex Christmas Party coming up this evening YHC thought it’d be good to work those bellies. Temps were a bit chilly and ice was abound but 15 pax skated right through the beatdown. We started with 12, then Two Factor arrived during warm up, then Khakis arrived later in the warmup, then finally McIlroy during the first Thang. Our brother Chinese Downhill was scheduled to Q at Dante’s Peak this morning, but something came up and he needed someone to cover for him. We talked this week about picking up the six, here it is in action. Trike agreed to take the Q, and asked YHC to co-Q with him, so let’s go.
