Calm Before the Storm

Pre-Blast 11 HIM joined YHC for a calm-before-the-brr-storm workout at BH. The Warmup Pledge of Allegiance at the flag Run to the community center, paint the lines. B R aRen't

18 Pax made it out to Hunter Street Park for a lovely 74 degree and 94 percent humid morning. Slack chatter was looking for an unfriendly BRR beatdown. Lots of mileage was logged yesterday so YHC agreed. See, not always Angry Shutty. Sometimes Very Accomodating Shutty. Here’s what went down after the 0545 disclaimer and Shut-In Shignature warmup… Thang 1: Plank-o-rama First pax took a lap around the soccer field fence and circled back up at the skate park. Dora at the Diamond

It was a special type of Tank Top Thursday at Bounty Hunters as a few followed in the footsteps of Cameron Poe played by the electrifying Nicolas Cage and wore sleeveless undershirts. Well… his picture electrified Slack for about 10 minutes anyway. In all, about half of us were in tanks so a good showing. We Pledged our Allegiance to Old Glory and then moseyed over to nice spot between Apex Town Hall and Apex Community Center to get warmed up. [Read More]

Back to school

YHC picked up the Q for July the 5th as a replacement for missing my birthday Q a few weeks back due to IR. I did not account for the post 4th of July hangover being fully present. Never mind, great way to start the morning. Expecting a light crowd, pleasantly surprised to see 12 other HIMs show up (14 total counting YHC and of course my side kick). At 5:45 sharp, we did a warm up jog around the short loop back to the skate park for warm up. [Read More]

Flag Day Fun

June 14, 2018 – Flag Day YHC Bayonne was honored to host 19 other men (including two F3 HIMs’ sons) for his first “real Q” (not counting a last-minute stand-in for McCants at FWD 5/29) on a glorious sunny Flag Day morning in the Peak of Good Living, USA. Today’s magic number was 14, in honor of the day. Tank Top participation was mediocre, with YHC and 8 other HIM’s sporting some form of non-sleeved attire (Red Ryder and Disco Duck being among the best dressed). Bounty Hunters 4/26/18 The '90's

19 PAX came out to hear the greatest tunes of the ‘90’s but, alas, YHC did not realize the charge only lasts a day. So only the birds accompanied us in our endeavors. Off for a quick lap around the lacrosse field to circle up in the skate park for warm-ups. Warm-up Side Straddle Hop, Good Mornings, Sir Fazio Arm Circles, Merkins Fellowship run to the Apex Town Parking Lot. [Read More]

Carpex Convergence

The twitters were abuzz last night with all sorts of HCs from PAX of several regions… as has become common for Downtown Apex’s premier Thursday morning AO. I shared with my M that today had the chance to be my largest Q to date! I tempered her excitement by stating that this was the trend with this AO specifically, and most definitely had little to do with YHC. Nevertheless, it was a daunting privilege to lead a larger workout. [Read More]

Hidden Hills of Apex

Temps in the mid 40s. A perfect day for a strong group of 21 PAX to log a few miles and eat some hills for breakfast. Good to see Yoda make the trip from Raleigh again, and his guy Curry. This was YHC’s 2-week delayed birthday Q, after being sick with the flu on my actual birthday. Thanks to Burt for the beer lesson and for bringing me the gift of various of Anheuser Busch products (you know, because Michelob). [Read More]

40 mins of Welcome to Hunter Street Skate Park

Date: 2/22/2018 Location: Bounty Hunters QIC: Parker PAX: 13 13 Pax gathered in the 63 deg downright balmy gloom on a late Feb morning for a promised reintroduction to the wonder that is Hunter Street Skate Park. Since GTL and YHC took over site Q duties at BH a couple weeks ago YHC feels obligated to make sure the Pax are aware of all the options here. I mean, it really has a lot to offer. Bounty Hunter BLIMPS

It was a scorching 57 degrees this morning, perfectly timed for Tank Top Thursday. YHC was the only participant, but appreciated Parker’s good intentions this morning, only to realize that he doesn’t own one. I think he can fix that with some scissors by next week… 11 PAX ready to go, no FNGs, and we’re off. Warm up jog around the track to the far parking lot, wave hello to FiA as we pass. [Read More]
