YHC & Chanticleer for a 3.4 mile EC run. Hanson for a “I woke up late” solo run. Michelob ran in from The Barkley Marathon.
Some knew what they were getting into this morning. Others were caught off guard. All were made stronger.
We started right on time by circling up where we stood for some Good Mornings, Windmills, SSH, Plank Jacks.
**Thang 1
**Partner Up. Catch me if you can (w/ Jump Lunges and Star Jumps) from the parking lot to the end of Lynch Rd and stop where the No Trespassing signs are posted.

4x13
To borrow a phrase from our Nantan, Ma Bell, today I reached level 52 of life. A strong group of 18 PAX (13 bootcampers, 4 ruckers and 1 bruiser) joined in on the celebration this morning at our Gran Torino AO. Awesome weather for a beatdown with temps in the mid/upper 40s. Let’s see how the old guy did…
Warm-Up
Jog through parking lot over to the bus loop and circle up for:

Unofficial/Official BRR Training Season
Shut-In blew-out his kankle on Friday and needed to go to the bullpen early in the week. This is now the most unique way that he has managed to avoid my Q. Still trying to wrap my head around how he did that……
4 of the Carpex 6 for a Hilly pre-run through the slums of Cary.
16 for the main event. Head across the street for a standard warm-up. 10 SSH, 10 GMs, 10 PJs, 10 IWs, 10 MCs, and 10 merkins.

#F3MentalBattle
37 shakers and vesperers came in to the gloom on special day across F3 Nation, a day where we set aside some time during COT to talk about mental health. But first we have to squeeze 45 minutes of pain into 35 minutes. To help us out, and to illustrate a point, we’re taking one of the Rolling Stone coupons with us, a solid, sturdy log, large and heavy enough that it requires two PAX to carry it.

Meet the Pivots
Twas another splendid Tuesday morning in at Field of Dreams. YHC was ready to go after a brisk run to the AO with BOGO, Squatter, and Michelob.
We gathered, I recited some form of a disclaimer. Debate ensued on whether we should state the fact that it is a disclaimer, or if we should simply disclaim.
Quick mosey around the parking lot and we all join the pivot family circle of trust for warmups.

Imperfect 10
YHC, some time back (before GT opened), posted at the site pre-opening, after running a 10k there from home, with plans to run home from there. Somewhere in the middle (okay, real close to the beginning), the tank was already empty. Q was calling some pretty high tempo stuff, and asked for pax to call an exercise upon arriving to the carpool dropoff spot. YHC was called upon, and called a 10-count to catch breath.

Bad Strava Art
The idea was to take a crack at Strava art but looking over the map all I saw were veins. So that’s what we did.
FNG One Direction found us online and jumped in for some high tempo fun.
Thang: Every culdesac we did a ladder of hand release merkins.
Hablo un poco de español
Buenos Dias, Hermanos.
When it was announced that Liverpool and Water Wings would share their Chimbote, Peru (or is it Chipotle…) story with the Pax at a bread braking and the Q sheet was WIDE FREAKING OPEN for that day, YHC had to jump on it.
Knowing we’d have a squad on hand, I was extra excited (hard to believe I know) for this one. With a resounding Yooooooooooooo at 0544, we got ready to roll out.
