Merkin Fest

School was back in session on Thursday, and 13 lucky pax made it out to gloom for the beatdown! With about 15 minutes till the start a few pax came in from their EC run, and 1 pax came in hot with a few seconds to spare. So with that the disclaimer was given, the pledge was recited and we were off running a lap around the parking lot! Warm Up: [Read More]

Lap the Fountain

The evening had a certain feel to it. The kind that would put you in the mood for a good workout! Mainly because it was a Tuesday night, and all know by now that thats Rush Hour time! 7 pax in total were there to get some sweat on (Captain Kirk would end up joining us for COT). So after the Pledge of Allegiance we were off and running. Disco Duck and WWW did some Bruiser walking. [Read More]

That's No Moon!

9 Pax made it out to the gloom to get their beatdown on for day! YHC got there a little early to set up for the ME, which I knew was gonna suck ever since I found it on the Exicon. (In a good way of course). When the time came the disclaimer was given, the Pledge was recited, and we were on our way to the other parking lot around the corner for the warm up! [Read More]

Feels Like NASCAR

It was indeed a great day to get up and workout in the early morning gloom! It was also YHC’s first time of leading a high tempo beatdown. So I had been looking forward to that, as well as receiving an FMJ camo koozie at the end, I’m not gonna lie! So after everyone arrived and stretched out: the runners came in, YHC gave the disclaimer, led the Pledge, and we were off! [Read More]

2 BLIMPS are Better than 1

The day was Oct. 8, 2020, a day when the weather probably should have been a lot colder than it was. I have to keep reminding myself though that we live in NC, and thats just normal. But it was great workout weather, so nobody was complaining. It was also the day that 9 pax gathered at Koka Booth for the earliest boot camp in Carpex! YHC was the first one there, which I’m not really use to, and as the time drew closer my brain was starting to wonder if they moved the spot to another parking area or something. [Read More]

Three's a Crowd

Three pax made it out to downtown Cary for another evening beatdown at Rush Hour, and after a little time of fellowship we were ready to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. One of the regulars from the Bond Brother’s run club was passing by at the same time, and he stopped and did the Pledge along with us! So that was really cool! When we finished we ran around to back side of the town hall for warm ups. [Read More]

Factor of 5 Escalator during the Rush Hour

Date: 9/22/20 AO: Rush Hour PAX: Cauliflower, Chewie, Disco Duck, Horatio, Kermit, Speed Racer, WWW I thought I was going to fartsack the whole day but as I got to class, the instructor mentioned that we are getting out at 4;00 pm. That brought a smile to me face because I realized that I can make Rush Hour. What was glorious about working out in Rush Hour is the weather was absolutely amazing. [Read More]

Frog and Duck

Two handsome young men showed up to Rush Hour in beautiful downtown Cary, one for a BRR taper, one just seeing if he can still lead a workout. Warm-Up Lap around the parking lot and line up for side straddle hops, arm twirlies, imperial walkers, arm twirlies in reverse and Good Evenings. The Thang Mosey over to the secret rock pile behind the community center for some rock work, mixed in with a run up the deceptively steep driveway. [Read More]

Stroll around downtown

This morning 15 PAX met at Hunter Street Park for various festivities. Group 1 of 10 PAX took a stroll to downtown with YHC, Group 2 of 2 completed this week’s IronPAX challenge and Group 3 completed a bruisers workout on the soccer field. We also found another group of 2 that completed the happy Dino in prep of the BRR coming soon. At 5:30 sharp, a quick pledge and we were off towards the chamber of commerce, home of DTP on Tuesday. Nice Cool Fountain Water

Well, another Tuesday night has come and gone just that fast. Which meant the finest and only evening AO in Carpex took place. This week, though only 5 pax posted, YHC was thrilled to have a variety of guys who showed up for the beatdown, as far as their their presence at Rush Hour is concerned. We had two familiar faces with Press On and his (fur) 2.0, Briefs. We had a first time RH post from Entitlement, and we also saw the return of the one and only Disco Duck! [Read More]
