We Smelled It, But Didn't See It

YHC has missed the 9/11 Stair Climb the last couple of years due to injury, and I’m determined to be there this year, so when the Rush Hour Q was available, I grabbed it, knowing we’d be headed to the parking deck. Warm-Up Mosey over to the bottom of the parking deck and circle up for cherry pickers, imperial walkers, Sir Fazios, copperhead merkins, copperhead squats and Good Afternoons. While two reluctant volunteers retrieve a couple of pain sticks the rest of the pax do LBCs. [Read More]

Acceleration of the King

Who are all these guys? YHC clearly needs to go to Slippery When Wet more often. There are at least 4 PAX that I’ve never had the pleasure to meet previously. However, with all the newer PAX, as the clock reached 0545 there were no site Qs or shovel flags in existence. Therefore, a form of the disclaimer is exclaimed, and YHC stated the mission of F3 (Hermes was given a shot at the mission, but failed. [Read More]

It was quite Beige in the heart of Bradfords Ordinary

19 pax show up, everyone in one of Becky’s freshly pressed TT’s, no FNGs, gloves not required. Straight vanilla., or beige? 7 Rubberbands follow Angry Elf for stretching. The remaining 12 BOs head to the bank to warmup with various stuff. In plank position, Burt is called on …….. ? And he calls calf stretches. Yeah we were all thinking the same thing, waiting for it to sink in. Really? Shaking away the cobwebs, gathering his wits, he then has us going into a progression of calf stretches, merkins, and …. The Freedom Trail July 4th Convergence

@Qwerty, @Red Ryder and YHC met last week to plan the 2019 July 4th Convergence hoping to create something special. Our goal was to keep the PAX together in order to preserve fellowship and maybe a few exercises in-between. The disclaimer was disclaimed, the F3 Mission was delivered and Whitney Houston’s Star Spangled Banner put the PAX in a USA state of mind that included a Fly Over courtesy of Delta. [Read More]

Feels Like 100

Oh, Rush Hour in the summer, how wonderful you are. YHC had an over/under of 4 pax for this hot one. Weather.com said it was 92 but “feels like 100”. FIVE WERE THERE, BOOM! A good little crowd makes for a solid fellowship of a beatdown. YHC didn’t know how much of the sweat was the heat and how much was because it was a hard workout. We’ll never know…but here’s what we did. [Read More]

5 PAX 2 Vests...

More firsts at Rush Hour for YHC. First, this was my first Rush Hour Q. Second, this was my second Q in the same say. Third, this was the first time I wore a 20lb vest through part of the workout. Lastly, this was the first time I wore a 20lb vest while Qing the workout. #acceleration I was not the only one wearing a vest. There were two vests, thanks to Theismann, that rotated through the Pax throughout the 94 degree beatdown. [Read More]

Who is really in charge here?

YHC quickly chums up with YOGI to confirm whose Q it really is. I get the, “what me? “ with a hug. After catching up on a few work things we begin to mingle with the ECP men and those arriving. Good to meet Alamo, been reading a lot about him. Great to see Traffic Cone, have not seen that man in a while. There will be no WWIIs or flutter kicks today. [Read More]
