Tiny Black pellets forever

Atmosphere: Damp and 40 degrees I noticed the gate open on the lacrosse field, so I immediately thought about revising my initial baseball field sprints, which could be sloppy (I know how you kids like it EXTRA schloppy). Long story short, the field turf is like a sponge and we enjoyed sitting in the soak to have some Mary. Although, we did get on the field, Smokey thought mid way through the post we might have a city worker shake us down. I am thankful & I am third

In an effort to add a few more Q’s to YHC’s list before the end of the year, YHC locked in on Thanksgiving morning at Bradford’s Ordinary a few months ago, only to later find out that it would be a Carpex Convergence… and 60-minutes at that. Have not fear PAX, YHC is up to the task and set forth to drop not only a beatdown on the you, but hopefully an impactful post, thus the theme of I am third. [Read More]

Hello Flacco

With a week of travel in front of many PAX, Hello Kitty alerted the Carpex region via GroupMe that there were prime Q spots open all week. A true HIM, Flacco stepped up for his VQ with Kitty close in tow to help along the journey. And with that, it was time for a Hello Flacco butt-whipping. PAX gathered for a gloomy SNS post. Insomnias back in from their jaunt, and a small group of Vespers heading out, it’s time to get after it. [Read More]

Homecoming

Shakin’ Not Stirred was the first place YHC posted with F3, and it’s always felt like home to me, so I was very excited to Q here for the first time. Warm-Up Mosey over to the community center parking lot and circle up for side straddle hops, merkins, plank jacks, imperial walkers and burpees (at this point YHC really was just trying to get warm). The Thang Mosey over to the shelter at the boat house to find that there were more PAX and less room than YHC expected. [Read More]

Shop Local

Granted, YHC hasn’t been to Bounty Hunters in a while. Typically it’s “fartsack day” but of my most recent posts there the pax have left the park only to return to COT. This set the scene for this morning’s beatdown. We were going to shop local. 12 studs rolled out of bed, some confessing as late as 0530, for a workout YHC preblasted on the Twittersphere. The claim was high tempo, lots of stops, low mileage. Tribute to our Respect Week Qs

Small but strong group of 8 gathered to pay tribute to this week’s respect Qs and listen to some old music. No FNGs and we start with a quick jog around some random section of the park. Warm Up Chinese Downhill in memory of Gibson Merkins x 23 Burtjacks x 15 The Thang 4 corners Sour Mash wolverines x10 Yogi WW2s x 20 Goose SSH x 30 Kilmer – reverse lunges x 40 and 5 burpees in the middle [Read More]

RESPECT Ladders

Pulling into the Senior Center (an apt place to start for RESPECT Week, as so many pointed out - hardy har har), I could tell there was 24K magic in the air. Someone brought a Wal-Mark special fishing rod, an obvious nod to YHC’s fishing prowess. Some PAX were already sweating from Insomnia; some were sweating the impending beatdown they were about to receive; some took the easy way out and Vespered their way out of a beatdown; some rucked because, you know, running sucks and walking’s not enough. Respect week kick-off

9 PAX for Kryptonite and 1 for Rolling Stone showed up at Koka Booth to kick off Carpex Respect Week. We were greeted by Hermes, playing an old man character by sitting in his patio chair, reading today’s newspaper, and wearing his old-man hat. If you haven’t seen the hat, just look for any of his selfies on GroupMe. Ah, Mondays. You try to start the week off right, but your gastrointestinal system may still be dealing with what you did to it over the weekend. [Read More]

With a great tailgate hanging with friends, old, new and F3 Saturday 10/28 started as good as it could! By half time of what would become a great ND win over NCSU YHC raised his hand to grab any Q available… With all the travel lately, YHC felt like he was in a strange place with new and old friends.
