Re-opening Wolverine

The air was cool and the gloomiest of AO’s was lit by a clear morning sky with a bright waning gibbous moon. It was a joy to be able to officially re-open Wolverine. The five other HIM that showed up made it a morning to remember with mumble chatter that YHC has seriously missed over the past 6 weeks. While we were away, TOC graciously finished their construction project. So, not only did we re-open the AO, we moved the flag back to its rightful place in the main parking lot. [Read More]

Q Week Day 4: FC

Day 4 of 5 of my Q week was set to be the most challenging (to not fartsack that is), the PAX seemed to be in good spirits considering everything going on in the world. YHC enjoyed seeing a good crowd out there this morning! Q Week: Day 2 FOD

Day 2 of my Q week was a success with the PAX of WCary, giving a good showing given the current situation. Having focused on arms and shoulders the previous day, YHC wanted to give the PAX a well-balanced workout, so today’s beatdown focused elsewhere. However, due to that focus, YHC had some struggle with cadence counting the exercises today (T-Claps to Franklin for sorting it out). Warm Up: Mosey to top of the hill lot. [Read More]

Four Corner

It was a lovely yet chilly morning in the gloomiest of Monday Morning AO’s in Carpex. With it being the first full week of recommended (and in many cases mandated) social distancing, along with it being the morning after the Off-The-Books Tobacco Road Marathon, I was expecting low numbers. We had a grand total of 4 PAX. I was glad that those who came came and also glad that those who felt like they should stay away stayed away. [Read More]

Foggy Day, Sore Shoulders

YHC continued my tour of the AOs, which formed this PAX by traveling south to the Wolverine. One of my first times posting here, Hi-Liter had the Q, and YHC wanted to pay a good memory to that HIM with this beatdown. Warm Up: Mosey to the Basketball courts (allowing for a slight detour on a sidewalk which leads to nowhere, thanks Cary). 15 Windmills (Faster windmills than they cared for according to the MC from the PAX) [Read More]

Rolling Stone triple nickel ruck bonanza

DATE: 2/14 PAX: Ezekiel, Largemouth, Skipper, Geek Squad, WWW Took a ruck mosey to starting point. This was the first but it was great to have Largemouth join us although he did not have a ruck. So, after our warm-up (GM, Sir Fazio, seal claps, and merkins), we went back to my truck to pick-up some coupons so LM did not feel left out. We headed to the starting point and tucked some for some number of light poles doing the thang. [Read More]
