Lap the Fountain

The evening had a certain feel to it. The kind that would put you in the mood for a good workout! Mainly because it was a Tuesday night, and all know by now that thats Rush Hour time! 7 pax in total were there to get some sweat on (Captain Kirk would end up joining us for COT). So after the Pledge of Allegiance we were off and running. Disco Duck and WWW did some Bruiser walking. [Read More]

2 BLIMPS are Better than 1

The day was Oct. 8, 2020, a day when the weather probably should have been a lot colder than it was. I have to keep reminding myself though that we live in NC, and thats just normal. But it was great workout weather, so nobody was complaining. It was also the day that 9 pax gathered at Koka Booth for the earliest boot camp in Carpex! YHC was the first one there, which I’m not really use to, and as the time drew closer my brain was starting to wonder if they moved the spot to another parking area or something. [Read More]

Chillin' and cuttin'

The weather has shifted and the PAX are taking notice. There were some long sleeves, some who were envious of long sleeves and others who don’t know where their long sleeves are. A healthy EC crew returned just a few minutes before ME go time…Largemouth came in sprinting, which either means he was setting a new land speed record or was sending a message to the Q that whatever he had planned wasn’t going to be adequate. A nice jog and some other things 08/25/20 FWD

Does anyone else have problems Tagging names in this Wordpress? I crank through the list of pax hitting the enter key after each name and inevitably about 25%-50% are mysteriously deleted. How irritating is it that in 2020, there is not a technology available that allows someone to simply create a blog post. At least that dadgum Yosh thing is gone. I guess you get what you pay for. Alas, i think 2 were there for the EC run and 17 were there for the main event. [Read More]

Suicide-ish Triple Nickels and Emily Blunts

Some like the saying, ‘another day, another dollar’ or the ever popular in my world, ‘good enough for government work’. In prep for the Back in Black Q this morning and with a still to be determined BRR route on everyone’s mind, I knew we needed hill work. I knew deep down though no one really wanted hill work, but maybe that’s just YHC. I throw on some RATM ‘Bulls on Parade’ for the ride over to Koka Booth VIP lot. [Read More]
