FUN!!!

Since this is my one year anniversary backblast I’ll start with some of the mushy stuff. It will probably be longer then the Muggo but shorter then a Callahan Christmas speech. So over a year ago my M was at a continuing education class and some guys she knew from Raleigh were talking about F3. One of them who had only gone to one workout and quit was complaining about how early it started and how many push-ups they had to do. [Read More]

One more thing technology ruined

No, it’s not the encyclopedia salesman nor roosters. It’s being able to tell CW from CCW. YHC showed up at #MeasureTwice a couple minutes early and just at 5:30 began the disclaimer (see NMS) and a talk-through of the run route. My goal had been to add a few short-cuts for the Clydesdales so we could run the same route and start/finish together with a few options in between. But Franklin started getting all antsy so instead of taking it nice and slow like I would have done normally with someone so clearly not in control of their faculties, I rushed through things. Katowice meets Bialystok

Pierogi Q tour continues with a return visit to the West Side. Pulled in around 5:20, shoes still on the passenger seat, with Sky Blue sliding into his regular spot just in front of me. As I leisurely put one shoe on and then the other, I notice the Flying Circus founder is getting agitated. He’s bouncing around like I’m holding him back from something. And as I tighten my laces and put the keys in the regular hiding spot, the man is literally running away from me down the parking lot. [Read More]

Field of Drunk rocks

YHC’s Q tour continues. Ain’t gonna lie… I have a love/hate relationship with the Q sheet. Love the fact that I can snag some quality spots last minute. Wouldn’t mind it being a little more difficult. Get out there and grab a spot. You will love it. The PAX may love it. I may not love it but that’s ok. Warm up During the EC (see NMS for more on that) I noticed that the rock pile near the flag is a bit low on small-sized rocks. [Read More]

Are we still writing backblasts?

Hello, and welcome to Fastest Friday AO in Carpex! The site that never shut down. Where mileage records are set and asterisks are badges of honor. YHC put forth his best marketing campaign he could to reQruit our native #beardedmillennial but with the Covid15 around his waste, Fortnight at his fingers, and a warm and dry fartsack YHC received word this morning at 0830 he “didn’t hear the alarms.” And he’s “sorry man”. Best Estimate in the Circus

March 5, 2020, it’s a perfect day for a morning workout, and for YHC’s VQ at FC. Thanks to Pivot for signing me up, it’d probably take me much longer to make up my mind even though it had been mentioned to me a couple times recently. Slight jitter to start as YHC did not have a lot of time to go through the Q plan that was made up the day before, but knew the structure’s there. [Read More]

Day 3 of Q Week: Whoville

Day 3 of 5 for my anniversary Q needed to match the previous two days groaning from the PAX, however we wanted to ensure that PAX were following WH guidelines to stay away from each other. Therefore, we adopted the “40 Minutes of Hell” Nolan Richardson. Named after the famed basketball coach from University of Arkansas. Warm up: Good Mornings Windmills CAC ME: The Nolan Richardson is a very simple routine, however it is necessary to split into partners (NO TOUCHING! [Read More]

Q Week Day 4: FC

Day 4 of 5 of my Q week was set to be the most challenging (to not fartsack that is), the PAX seemed to be in good spirits considering everything going on in the world. YHC enjoyed seeing a good crowd out there this morning! Warm-up: To start getting our hearts bumping, we took a run around the peanut, with alternating movements including: Karaoke Ass-Kickers High Knees High Skip WU also circled up for GMs, Windmills and Burpees (foreshadowing the future) [Read More]

Q Week: Day 1 Winterfell Recon

This week marks the one year anniversary of YHCs first posting with F3, and as such I am marking it with 5 Qs in 5 Days. Given all the craziness of the world, YHC feels that it is necessary to give the PAX something to rely on, a good beatdown. This week also marks the first week of the new Monday AO in WCary, Winterfell. This site will have a 0530 launch, with plenty of EC options available to the PAX. [Read More]
