12 Days of Christmas Already?

Got to the park with 15 mins. to go and already had a couple people there. I chatted with Yoga Mat but headed off to see how far my warm up lap was. About 0.6 miles which would work nicely. Warm up Up the hill and around the parking lot to Chanticleer’s for Plank hold, 10 Plank Jacks, 10 Mountain Climbers, 10 Good Mornings and 10 Donkey Kicks. Then we jogged back to the park. WWW x 3 and Largemouth 2.0's B-day

Strong showing Wednesday morning for the birth of Largemouth’s 3rd child. I guess by your 3rd C-section you can tell your wife, “Hey babe, I’m gonna go for a run with the guys and I’ll meet you at the hospital!” We’ll see if she’ll cool with that with his 4th or 5th child… Insomnia had 8 in attendance: YHC, Snots, Shut-In, Pet Sounds, Callahan, Hermes, Largemouth and Michelob (Respect) For some reason Snots thought it would be a great combo for YHC to participate in Insomnia for YHC’s first time the week YHC has 6 Q’s… [Read More]

High-Tempo Molly Hatchet

17 of Carpex’s finest entered into the brisk gloom, 16 from automobiles and 1 from a bicycle. After auctioning off the Kryptonite Q yesterday, YHC still had the urge for a high tempo Q. Plans were made known via GroupMe (like by Hello Kitty and WKRP within 15 seconds) so YHC was guilt-free. And there was no need for guilt with this set of PAX, they all crushed it (as the kids say). Post-Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

3 PAX emerged from their turkey hangovers to post at DZ today. IT was 28 degrees, so low number didn’t surprise me. YHC later learned it was close to being PAX of one…………..Banjo had HC’d to SWW however Mr. Brown slowed him down this morning and he would not have made it there in time. Chanticleer wasn’t feeling well the night before but decided to set his alarm anyway. Thankfully he felt better. 11/21 2.4 mile string of pearl

19 pax for a 2.4 mile loop stopping at about 5 spots for some pain stations. Joe Smith led us for some Homer to Marge work at the LDS parking lot. We did some pull ups at the playground, a 10 count down the line inverted sunrise over US1, we finished with some one-arm merkins at the flag. Great work men! Dice gave us some great guidance on what F3 means to him. [Read More]

Hello Flacco

With a week of travel in front of many PAX, Hello Kitty alerted the Carpex region via GroupMe that there were prime Q spots open all week. A true HIM, Flacco stepped up for his VQ with Kitty close in tow to help along the journey. And with that, it was time for a Hello Flacco butt-whipping. PAX gathered for a gloomy SNS post. Insomnias back in from their jaunt, and a small group of Vespers heading out, it’s time to get after it. [Read More]

B.O.M.B.S over Koka Booth

6 PAX huddled under the LED lights in the mini parking lot, anxiously awaiting the 5:30 start time. 5 seconds to go time and Flip Flop fires in to make 7. We meet him at his car and we are off….sorta. YHC had not posted at Kryptonite in some time. Little did I know the Greenway and access to Pavilion is current closed. Never the less we circled up in front of the Gates and began warm up [Read More]

Circle of Death...

I guess it was more like an oval. I got there early to check out the park and Hermes and Billy were already waiting. 10 Pax showed up and Joe Smith placed the flag. We started off on our first lap as Fluoride rolled in. Warm Up Jog lap 1 and on lap 2 we did butt kicks, high knees, and karaoke. Circle up for 10 x GM and 15 x IW. [Read More]

Homecoming

Shakin’ Not Stirred was the first place YHC posted with F3, and it’s always felt like home to me, so I was very excited to Q here for the first time. Warm-Up Mosey over to the community center parking lot and circle up for side straddle hops, merkins, plank jacks, imperial walkers and burpees (at this point YHC really was just trying to get warm). The Thang Mosey over to the shelter at the boat house to find that there were more PAX and less room than YHC expected. [Read More]
