November 1

19 Pax showed up to the POGL newest Friday AO. No FNG’s this morning and no time to waste so let’s get started. Quick mosey around the lower parking lot and circled up. SSH’s, good mornings, calf stretch, sir fazio, and goofballs were called. Now that we are warmed up let’s begin. Most of my Q’s have some sort of theme, so we are going to spell out November. Partner up. [Read More]

Morticia Addams, Wonder Bras, and Depends

A beautiful autumn morning, perfect for an F3 workout. YHC rolls in to Annie Jones Park to find Quikstop walking up and down the stairs holding a rucksack over his head. Frisco was supposed to join him for an EC run, but we didn’t see him. I wondered why the lot was so empty, and asked if Claymore starts at 05:30 or 05:45. Turns out it’s the latter, and I’m not the first Q to make that mistake recently. [Read More]

Wow, things are changing around here

I had the honor today to Q at the still relatively new Hot for Teacher - just minutes away from where i used to live about 10 years ago. Although I drive by here frequently, I can’t believe the development… oh well - its 530 - off we go. Oh wait - FNG - just for grins - i had Nature Boy do the disclaimer - (well worth it). I do hope that FNG Bobby Boucher does return…. [Read More]

Reverse Bear Crawls, no cheatin', Kinda Frightnin'

Mosey over to the Publix parking lot and circle up to warm up. Various warm-up exercises including runner stretch and pigeon pose. Mosey over to the lowest point on Green Level Church Road. Run to the top of the hill towards Olive Chapel Road, stopping at every power pole (6 or 7) for five burpees, adding 10 merkins at the top, run to the bottom and repeat, pick up the six. [Read More]

Bricks and Burpies

My name is Chicken Little and I began F3 on June 5th, 2019 with Banjo as the Q at Lion’s Den. I feel that I was hooked almost immediately, after several other PAX that I’m friends with told me that I needed to come to F3. I was like, “yeah right, who begins to work out at 5:30 anyway?!” And then I remembered that I was fat… and realized that what I WAS doing was not working. [Read More]

Barrel of Pickles

It feels like it’s been quite a while since my VQ, but I’m glad Q #2 was finally here! Last week I made sure to do recon during Hamm’s VQ and was please to see there were 4 pickles, making 5 different running lanes. I now had a plan… 1 FNG, so struggled through the disclaimer and part of the mission and whatnot followed by the declaration of allegiance to Old Glory. [Read More]

Where's Frisco?

0510 I pull in to parking lot for my Hell’s Bells VQ and the only other PAX is Ryder about to warmup with some pullups. Where’s my Co-Q Frisco? Nowhere in sight. PAX start arriving and Honeycomb brought an FNG, Jake. First exercise was the pledge, and then a quick warm up mosey doing a figure 8 in parking lot. Cue Crimson’s first “This is supposed to be low running” complaint of the morning (only two more to go). [Read More]

Straight Vanilla

14 showed up for a very sticky Thursday morning at Olive Chapel Elementary. 3 for EC runs, 1 for ECP, maybe a couple others I didn’t get sorry if I missed you. And it finally happened, Wake Zone right across the street opened! Let’s Get Started Disclaimer - I am not a professional, F3 has no assets, but our golf tournament apparently has a war chest that you might be able to raid Pledge of allegiance There will be no theme, just running and doing stuff. It was a wheelbarrow of a time with Merkins, taboot! Luckily, QIC/YHC had extra gloves for those who showed up in the gloom without any.

Date: 9/5/19 PAX: Butt Fumble, Cataracts, Chicken Little, FNG Dreamliner, Frisco, Glow, Headroom, Oxtail, Prosecco, QueeQueg, Qwerty, Shipper, Slappy, Smithers, Taxi Driver, Wahoo, WWW The morning was beautiful with a comfortable 70 degrees. As the PAX showed up, I asked those who did not have any gloves as they stepped out of their chariot, why no gloves? Luckily, QIC/YHC was prepared and handed those without gloves extra gloves that I did have. [Read More]

3.9 miles + a boat load of stuff in between ... The things you come up with to fill 1.5 hrs

Date: 8/31/19 PAX: Cataracts, EarharT, Kermit, Lookout, Peeping Tom, Sub, Trike, WWW YHC got the honor to Co-Q with Peeping Tom (True HIM). PT approached me via Slack. We were supposed to Q The Green Mile a few weeks back but I had to take an anniversary weekend trip to beach. So, when PT asked, I didn’t hesitate to accept. Here is a learning point: we did coordinate with each other but we weren’t specific on what we were doing. [Read More]
