OK fellas, YHC was feeling a little something extra this week in prep for a Phoenix-lead beatdown.
I showed up at 0600 with a pocket full of scavenger hunt clues. Before setting out to strategicly place them around Bond Park, Brother Snots pulled into the lot. With that we rolled out…

I happened to check Slack at around 9:30PM Saturday night and notice a Riptide post looking for a co-Q for Phoenix Saturday morning. I jumped on and decided to help Rip make his daughter’s Soccer game for which Hermès never stopped talking about for 30 min. Speaking of Hermès, many were happy they left the 2.0’s at home cause old Hermz was in rare but normal form. He did apologize during the prayer LOL!

A half dozen High Impact Men came out to the sunniest gloom in all of Carpex to get stronger. Let’s go!
Warm-Up Mosey around the Page-Walker building and circle up for side straddle hops, imperial walkers and cotton pickers. Here comes Ollie and Mojo, so let’s do another round.
The Thang Mosey over to the big fountain and split into two groups, one group AMRAPs dips while the other group runs up the stairs and around the courtyard, then flapjack.

15 PAX entered the gloom on a 40-something degree morning in downtown Cary. A couple guys did EC - you know who you are. By the grace of the SkyQ, one of the BO twitterkeepers tweeted out that YHC was the Q for the week. YHC may or may not have remembered that.

Speed-Dating
Lots going on at Shakin’ Not Stirred this morning. The Maynerds were off early, Insomnia runners, departed just after the last Maynerd group, and at 5:45 the Vesper and Bootcamp group were ready to get going.
The Bootcamp hosted a baker’s dozen, and it went down like this: Tight circle and each man was instructed to identify a fellow PAX that he didn’t really know so well. That was to be your partner throughout the workout.

Riptide was the Q
1stF #5 of 6 BD & F3’versary Q-week: Larry got that Thang in the middle – 12 Days of Christmas.
BO holds a dear place in my heart because it was the 2ndpost I’ve done when I started in F3. Ma Bell was the Q and I got my introduction to the 12 Days of Christmas. 12 Days of Christmas is to spur happiness and gift giving. OH NO!!!! It provided pain and fatigue. I had to bring it back for the nostalgia it brings.
0545 start – I introduced my Co-Q Franklin who DM me earlier in the week to Co-Q because he had to fulfill the role at BO to complete his leadership challenge.

At this rate, we'll never get to the top
So except for the 3 new AOs, Rush Hour was my last site to Q to complete the 2018 Challenge. I had only been to RH one other time, the week before, but it was enough to scout out some locations and get the skinny on how things go down here.
I had been told to expect a small group, so I was pleasantly surprised to see 11 other HIMS ready for the beat down.
