Just Getting Started!

After some debate on which parking lot we should circle up in we stuck with the standard operating procedure for SWW. After a delivery of the disclosures to our FNG we moseyed over to the back parking lot for some warm-up. 3 Yr. Hermesversary Q

YHC is honored to celebrate my 3 year anniversary in F3 Carpex! Technically it is Monday 3/18, but work, yada yada yada.. The celebration will continue at DZ on 3/22. Repeato did the 440 EC ruck. Several did the 440 EC run, maybe Largemouth, Build-a-Bear and Ollie. My nantan, Ma Bell was blasting Back in Black by ACDC as he rolled up. He named me by the way. We welcomed the Krispiest of all Kremes from Hartsville. [Read More]

Bartmanniversary IV

23 PAX turned out this fine morning to help YHC celebrate four years of gloom. That’s right, this week marks 48 months of getting after it, and it’s as if A-Team hasn’t changed a bit. PAX in the low 20’s, rain more often than it should, and a bunch of go-getters ready to hit it. A 2-mile EC led by Disco was the perfect apertif. Mosey to the front parking lot and circle up. All About Preparation

AO: Slippery When Wet QIC: Staubach 18 Wonderful Pax learned a valuable life lesson today. Preparation and practice is the key to success. I entered the the morning well rested with a perfectly timed and orchestrated plan that both started and ended on time. Many Pax will say Staubach got back from Atlanta very late, had less than 3 hours of sleep and had over 2 hours of exercises planned for the 45 minute time slot…. [Read More]

The Regency Islands

Drew the Back in Black Q for the second time in its short history, and I didn’t quite get to do what I had planned the first time… so after a deeper recon dive, let’s hit it. 8 HIM gathered after the flag, and after a site-Q recommended disclaimer, off we go for a quick lap around the lot enter the Symphony Lake greenway, but then turn left back toward the road cross the street using the crosswalk and circle up in the lot for GM/IW/CP/SM Thang 1 - PARTNER UP! Merkins, Merkins, Merkins, and more Merkins

Yesterday evening I was perusing the weather forecast, workout options and Q-sheets….ok, yes, I was Q-Shopping a bit. About that time, Yoga Mat posted that Bluewater would be running the show here at FWD in the morning and I immediately decided…THAT is where I’m going!!! Shortly thereafter, I got a call from Bluewater advising he would not be able to make it and asking if I would fill in for him. [Read More]

Perfect weather at B in B

The forecast was calling for a high probability of rain, so the day before YHC scoped out a dry parking garage up the road from the AO Back in Black. No matter the weather, the parking garage was a perfect place for 8 HIM to do some strong work at the earliest AO in Carpex. After the pledge and a botched disclaimer (there were no FNGs anyway, but per Ma Bell via Hermes we’re always supposed to be giving the disclaimer) we warmed up. [Read More]

Bringing Sally Up

A F3 mentor taught me long ago to only Q what you can do. A nice catchy phrase and one that I have tried to adhere to. I believe as the Q it’s important to lead by example in attitude, effort and execution of all exercises called. When a man volunteers to lead other men he wants to be his best on that day in every way he can. Ideally all of the above falls in place for every Q everyday. [Read More]
