Prodigal No-Show

Today was supposed to be the triumphant return to the Q of DZ’s own prodigal site-Q Callahan. So much anticipation building to this historic occasion. Callahan’s last Q at DZ was January 6th, heck, may have even been his last post at this site. The calf is so fat now, YHC was planning to roll him to the site. Alas, it was not meant to be. While the prodigal son was still a long way off, he sent a GroupMe saying he would not be returning. Shoulders for Days, and Some Running Too

This marks YHC’s second post at Bounty Hunters, excited to see the Q spot was open. My first post here was Franklin’s tour of downtown Apex. Today would be less informative and less pleasant. 17 PAX gathered in the gloom of the Apex Skate Park, no FNG’s, no site-Qs, so it was only appropriate that I planted the DZ flag, cause that’s how DZ rolls! Warmup - Jog to some random parking lot behind Apex Parks and Rec. [Read More]

When: 9/20/2017 QIC: Pet Sounds The PAX: see below As SNS is my 2nd favorite site in F3Carpex (only behind Kryptonite obviously) I took this Q seriously. Worked hours in preparation for these famed 45 minutes to deliver a powerful beatdown that would make even Larry happy. Warm up - lap with around parking lot ending at side of sr ctr. Bears v. Crabs

Pre-BB YHC delayed his departure for a short business trip to make Wolverine’s Launch happen…but the BB had to take a back seat for a few days. Worth the wait, I hope. BB Thank you, Pete Russell, for Co-Qing this great, new AO with me…pumped to be working with you. Thanks to the 29 HIM who posted at Wolverine’s launch. And thanks to ALL of CarPex for the mumble chatter that kept the buzz about Wolverine alive. [Read More]

It's a numbers game......

Numbers here, numbers there. We are inundated by numbers. How fast were you driving, what was your GPA, how much did your house cost, what is your income, how much did you pay in taxes, how many times have you posted, how long have you been doing F3. Numbers are everywhere and some are good and some are not so good. Today was a celebration of numbers for Crimson. The first number of celebration was 19. [Read More]

What Sore Legs?

After a GroupMe fartsack shaming on Tuesday - the day after the 9/11 stair climbs and only a couple of days removed from the BRR - when only a handful of CarPEX PAX posted, the boys showed up in force; from the looks of it, pert’neer 40 of them. We’ll count-a-rama later. After a round of fist bumps and a doo-rag tying lesson, it was time to roll. Let’s go! [Read More]

B.O. 8/24/17

So, I’m late. If I were a woman, that’d be quite the statement. Here’s what happened: WARM UP: C’mon bro, this happened nearly three weeks ago. But if I’m going to guess, I’d say it was some assortment of SSH, GM, Imperial Walkers, Merkins, Squats(?), Arm Circles(?) THE THANG: Run over to the most glorious concrete structure in North Carolina. Seriously. This parking garage might be the most Cary thing in the Town of Cary. [Read More]

Still shakin' (or bakin?) three hundred and sixty five days later!

A few weeks ago, YHC was ego-surfing the now nearly impossible to find F3Nation.com backblasts when I came across this beauty from Burt. I quickly jumped on the Q-sheet and found to my giddy surprise that the 9/9 slot at Phoenix was still open. With a mix of trepidation (‘how am I going to fill up 60 minutes?’) and pride (‘definitely did not imagine I would still be getting up at 5 o’clock a year later’) I signed up to Q. [Read More]
