All creatures, great and small

So…recently trying to get back in the swing of things, Piranha Park has become a new favorite. I’ve still not had a single drop of Vicious Fishes brews, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the Piranha Joe’s offerings. This has become a “go for the 1st F so I can enjoy the 2nd and 3rd F” workouts. The call went out from Peeping Tom on Thursday afternoon…and it sat there for just a little bit before YHC picked it up. [Read More]

Fourth Year Celebration Part 1

This past Tuesday (4/6/21) marked the 4th year that YHC’s first post of F3 Carpex, and what an awesome ride its been! Time sure is a weird thing, as I like to say. It feels so long ago and yet it doesn’t feel like hardly any time at all, but I’ve certainly enjoyed getting to know and workout with all you guys and all the adventures ta boot! To celebrate YHC had planned out a special two part Q on this day. [Read More]

YHC studied and recited the F3 Mission for hours prior to the post so it rolled off the tongue effortlessly to kickoff the workout, next we did the pledge of allegiance and off we went. [Read More]

SLT Meeting: 4/6/21

It was Tuesday, April 6 in the year two thousand and twenty one at 0530. YHC peeled into the parking lot at the Bojangles on 64 next to the Toyota dealership. I was almost late. Rounding the corner, most of my peers were still outside getting ready to breach the doors of the restaurant. I knew a handful would get in line to grab coffee and a biscuit while the rest of the gentlemen waited until after our meeting. [Read More]

Getting Swole on Thorsday!

I was pretty excited for this workout. It was the first true Spring evening workout (in my opinion) - the weather was perfect. Workout together but against yourself. No FNGs. We Pledged to the good ‘ole US of A and moseyed to the Asgardian Warrior Training Grounds (Elevate Course at the park) for a quick warm-up. Green wave at FOD...

Great morning at FOD – always a good crowd and fun men to be with! But holy crap the site-q’s are doing a terrible job keeping the pollen down…. couple of times it was tough to get the cadence out with a headfull of green dust. That however, did not slow down this fine crew of men! Here’s what happened according to my recollection… gather at the flag (someone mentioned it’s a bit short, but that’s not everything in life, right? [Read More]
