MJ Stands with The Commish


Pre-Blast

  • 31 HIM (not including MJ) at Phoenix for The Commish’s co-VQ with YHC. This also marked a 6-Pack for Mr. Silver!
  • Such a strong start…it’s no wonder MJ Stood with The Commish.

The Warmup (Hi-Liter)

  • Pledge of Allegiance at the flag.
  • Mixed Run to the Community Center into extended Paint the Lines.
  • Circle up for 25 each: SSH, Mt. Climbers, Hillbillies, Plankjacks, Imperial Walkers, St. Merkins, SSH.

The Thang 1 (Hi-Liter)

  • Small Indian Run (3 to 4 men) to the playground.

  • 25 St. Merkins while you wait for the 6.

  • 7’s from the playground to the shelter across the street with Squat+Pull-ups at the playground and Australian Mt. Climbers at the shelter.

  • Mosey to the boat dock lot.

The Thang 2 (The Commish)

  • Four Corners Escalator with: 10 Burpees, 10 Burpees/20 Merkins, 10 Burpees/20 Merkins/30 LBCs, 10 Burpees/20 Merkins/30 LBCs/40 mountain climbers
  • Mosey to the hill at the kiosk
  • 7’s on the hill : Plan Jacks + Boxcutters
  • Billy Run back to flag.

  • The Carolina Dry Docks
  • American Hammers

  • Earhart called - some variation of a sit up
  • Flaco called: Side Plank Star Crunches

  • We discussed the Bible’s exhortation to make the most of every opportunity. We celebrated the fact that so many men show up at a workout like Phoenix to do just that. YHC admonished everyone to give their best every chance the have.
  • YHC also challenged the veteran Qs to EH a man who has never Q’d to get him going. We took a show of hands for all who need to VQ.
