Claymore 9/21/21: Shuffle up and squeal

Ten brave PAX found their way to the constructioniest site in central Cary on a beautiful Tuesday morning, hoping for a dose of pain. The Deck of Death was there to deliver. Pre-event mumblechatter was relocated to the first base side in hopes of avoiding any Karen-related altercations. Short warm-up: SSH, MC, Merkins, and some BartmArmORama. Mosey to the rock pile and grab an ego rock. Foie Gras, VHS, and Kinky Boots were briefed on the Deck of Death: [Read More]

Another Yank safely contained

Last Saturday, YHC moved from Chatham county closer to the center of the Carpex universe, going from 0 AOs* within an EC-able 3-mile radius to approximately half of all the AOs in Carpex (or as HK calls it, the Nation). What better way to move in, meet new Pax, and ensure that YHC wakes up and works out each day instead of sleeping in on a week off than to Q every day at a Cary AO? [Read More]

Mexican Slayride*

It snuck up on me, but my 6-year anniversary of my first post is 6/15. I first posted at A-Team, at the urging of Hotspot, way back in 2015. You know he can be convincing… Crazy busy schedule these last few days, with 2.0 Zip Drive wrapping up his high school career, and all the celebrations that signal the end of one phase, and the beginning of another. But I saw that A-Team was Q-less, and, even with all the crazy in my life right now, could NOT pass up a chance to see if I could pull off another themed Q there. [Read More]

Conquering the Beast

Serious storms overnight, but a gap in the rain from 530 to 7 made for a great morning to workout. For my 6th anniversary, 6x6x6 (or the Beast) seemed appropriate, but I wanted to mix it up. We made 36 stops throughout Down Town Cary, and performed series’ of 6 exercises at each (sometimes throwing in 2 exercises at the stops) If you want to know what we did (sort of), see the image. So I know some of you are woodworkers...

My 3 years of f3 celebration continue as I Q at the place I posted for the 2nd time, and my favorite Carpex AO, Bradfords Ordinary. What I remember from that post was that Disco Duck was the Q and the old lady that gave Callahan what was walking and carrying a bag of rice as he was coming off of IR a hard time. Adult "Keepy Uppy"

At the elite Tuesday limited-run/maximum pain AO in Carpex, we wanted to do something special today. I am still limited with an ankle but was looking forward to mixing things up a bit. I still had beers leftover from 2.0’s birthday, so I brought those…and some of his Bluey balloons for the PAX to play with. I am pretty sure I heard Repeato giggle with glee as those balloons were introduced. [Read More]

Hide and Seek

Today’s Q was in doubt when I jammed up my ankle at #2F-Guys-and-Balls yesterday. But all I did was make the PAX run while I stayed central for the workout. The HIMs were understanding and didn’t rag on me too bad about that…they focused on my sexy new silkies instead. Since I wasn’t hiding any part of my legs in those silkies (totally a photo of me as featured photo), I decided we’d play hide and seek for our workout instead. [Read More]

Will You Call My Name

2 1/2 years ago Pickles approached me with an idea to start a second limited run AO in Carpex. I was months behind on my membership dues but Pickles promised that he could “fix it” with the Leadership if I became a co-Site Q and started paying him directly in unmarked $10s and $20s (privilege of him being the Dues Collector, I guess). At first, I was worried. I was fairly new to F3 and unlike Mama’s Boy people actually liked me after their first post with me. [Read More]
