F3 Carpex 6th Annual CSAUP, The Odyssey

93 PAX and 2.0’s descended on Downtown Cary for the 6th annual CARPEX Odyssey. Special thanks to Bogo and Badlands for doing the heavy lifting on the Q for this event, and to PetSounds for crushing the SAG Q and post-race 2nd F. BRR Tribute

We held a planning meeting with Erkins, SSH and Squats. Never did come up with a suitable team name but split into 2 vans. Van1 ran the full soccer field track while Van2 did merkins, squats and LBCs. Flip flop for a total of 3 laps per van. StepUps, dips, pull ups, Derkins and jump squats were featured. Lastly we ran the staircase three times to help Ma Bell remember 9/11. [Read More]

It is hard to believe that 2017 was 5 years ago but alas here we are celebrating my 5 years of doing this thing we call F3. I am still not sure why I started in January since I really do not like cold but so glad I decided to join Crimson all those years ago. It’s Revolution time in CARPEx and about 30 dudes were running the Maynard. YHC came out for Insomnia and … ran it solo despite the parking lot being full of cars. Plus it was really cold. Today’s Q was in doubt when I jammed up my ankle at #2F-Guys-and-Balls yesterday. But all I did was make the PAX run while I stayed central for the workout. The HIMs were understanding and didn’t rag on me too bad about that…they focused on my sexy new silkies instead.
