August 2017 - Today

I said to the PAX at Tortoise today - I cannot imagine my life if I didn’t find F3 a short 5 years ago. Flying Cirqus

My first post at Flying Circus featured a Pom Pom Q* involved flipping coins, ball toss, card decks, disc throws, and ring of fire burpees. So when asked to Q, YHC wanted to do something inspired by games. YHC’s anniversary tour continues at Field of Dreams. Theme today is ‘60’s. YHC was looking forward to some heavy rain this morning, unfortunately it held off. The rain wasn’t there, but Peirogi was, and almost on time. Warm-Up Mosey around to the back of the school and circle up for imperial walkers, daisy pickers, arm circles, copperhead merkins, copperhead squats and burpees. The Thang Mosey over to the building with the stairs and count off 1s and 2s. A few rounds of one group climbing the stairs while the other group alternates hand release merkins and monkey humpers. Humid Hills

Little thick out there this morning. Little thick. Warm-Up Mosey around the lot next to the astroturf field and circle up for imperial walkers, daisy pickers, arm circles and burpees. The Thang Run up the hill to the next parking lot and back, stopping on the way down at each light pole for various exercises (merkins, LBCs, monkey humpers). Mosey to the shelter and partner up. Run FOD Run!

Apparently I’m being accused of becoming a runner as of late. With that thought, I did consider running into FOD this morning, but as it’s 4.5 each way + the workout I had planned I thought the better of it. Plus part of the route being a bit dicey (2 lane road and dark) I opted for the drive in. With my plan ready to go and with FOD being a “late start AO”, I arrived early for a solo 3/4 mile EC.
